FRP Pipe performance Characteristics

Production Process: reciprocating type cross winding, which controlled by the computer.

1. Product Characteristics:

1). Excellent Corrosion proof performance, long useful life.
FRP pipe can resist long time erosion by chmical goods, such as acid, alkali, salt, organic solvent, seawater and sewage, etc. Choose different performance FRP accoring to different medium and temperature.

2). Excellent mechanical property.
FRP pipe has light specific gravity (1.8~2.1g/cm³) and high intensity (≥300MPa), which is higher than steel tube and cast iron pipe.  

3). Excellent hydraulics performance.
FRP pipe has smooth inside surface and small frictional resistance (n ≤0.0084), which can reduce pressure loss, increase flow, in the condition of the same flow, choose smaller pipe or delivery pump with smaller power, so can reduce the project initial investment and save energy consumption (reduce running cost).

4). Excellent design ability and wide accommodation limit.
Change the materials, wrapping angle and speading design to meet the different working pressure, medium, and rigidity requirement so as to produce FRP pipe with different pressure grade and special performance.

5). Rigidity, Innocuity
Smooth inner surface with no dirt and alga animalcule, has no secondary pollution. The FRP Pipe, which is introduced by food grade resin, can be used for transportation drinking water.

6). Less tie-in, Good leakproofness

The length of FRP Pipe is about 12 meter, adopt double "O" type sealant rubber ring, each tie-in has safe airproof.

7). Lighter in weight, Easy to transport and install.
The weight is 1/4 and 1/10 of the nodular cast iron pipe and cement duct under the condition of with the same specification and length. Easy to transport and install with lower cost.

2.Product specification:

• Diameter: DN25mm-DN4000mm.
• Pressure grade: 0.25Mpa, 0.6Mpa, 1.0Mpa, 1.6Mpa, 2.0Mpa, 2.5Mpa.
• Rigidity grade: 2500N/㎡, 5000N/㎡, 10000N/㎡.
• Length: 1m, 3m, 6m , 9 m and 12m.

Note: We also can produce the product of any pressure grade and length according to the customer demand.
3. Raw materials:

• Resin: different resin according to different demand.
• Continual glass fiber.
• Glass fiber felt

4. Technology:
We adopt continual glass fiber winding process controlled by computer, which at the International advanced level. We make the inner, structural layer, and outside protection layer, heat treatment though Remote infrared ray salamander, we can add flame retardant, ageing resistant and all kinds of color sizing according to customer’s request.
5. Connection mode:
Spigot-and-socket joint with double “o” sealing rings, spigot-and-socket joint with single ”o” sealing ring, butt joint, spigot-and -socket joint with gluing, flanged joint, etc.
6.Product inspection standards:
Both manufacture and inspection in accord with JC552 standard.
7.Application:
